COAST TO THE OUTBACK WITH FARM COASTAL

Although general work life in the office brings a lot to be excited for, there is nothing like a road-trip - be it for work or pleasure.

Road-trips that bring in the absolute beauty of the country, the outback and taking in every sunrise and every sunset for near on 3 weeks it really doesnt get better.

For 19 days (exception of 6 days) we averaged 8 hours on the road, towing the mobile work office (AKA the Jayco Starcraft) to locations that although stop overs to get to destinations, became destinations in themselves.

The scenery, the stops, the laughs and the bonds that are created while on the road and in our case the workload that is punched out during the 8 hours on the road, together with when getting into towns is something that far surpasses a general day in the office.

Whether its the back and forth collaboration from the front seats, the lack of distraction with little phone service, or its the inspiration the country offers, or a collection of them all we are not complaining. Although a lack of phone service, this doesnt get in the way of productivity nor prevent you from having all material ready to go, so when you hit that 20ks from a town you have 40ks to have those drafted emails sent, the loading of posts or a quick phone call or text.

The time on the road we had 2 actual destination points - first was Tailem Bend in Adelaide for the Porsche Mischelin Sprint Challenge and the other was Alice Springs for the Finke Desert Race.

1 sport, 2 codes, how lucky are we? and wow we are grateful to be part of both these codes of motorracing.

For those who dont know the team behind Farm Coastal, 1 owner has grown up in offroad, the other owner on the bitumen, so to be able to have this perfect blend of a work road trip is truly dreams.

Whilst on the road, we also found locations suitable for content for other clients and their products. How could you not when you are greeted every day by incredible sunrises, landscape and sunsets. It really is content heaven.

Although this trip was about arriving at both the destinations to create content for the race teams and our own brand, it also became about the country.

The Australian outback has a way of drawing you in. It reminds you of what life is truly about. Simplifying the need and wants, and being in a moment for the what is here right now. Creating content and writing articles while in the moment without distraction becomes the easiest thing to do on the road.

Sometimes we all just need to stop and breathe, take in what is around us and reset.

Although, we didnt stop working for 19 days and our average day was probably 16 hours, we dont feel like we worked a day in that time.

Now back in the office reflecting on all the places we have stopped and travelled, sifting through all the photos, and videos, the real fun starts of putting all these together to bring you some super fun and cool reels, posts and articles.

Some articles you will expect to see coming your way over the next couple of weeks, include the 5 states we travelled, the racing we covered, the stops including but not limited to Tamworth, Barossa region,

Kingsford The Barossa or maybe you know this more as "Drovers Run" from McLeods Daughters, Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Alice Springs, Finke, Barkly Homestead, Winton, Longreach, Roma and everything in between.

This is just a small snapshot of what this country has to offer, and also what Farm Coastal has in store.

Farm Coastal specialises in content creation, media management, blog and copywriting, website management and have a wealth of experience and even more energy to create new ideas for your brand, so if you are keen to get on board with us shoot us an email, or if you are just keen to keep an eye on all things Farm Coastal, don't forget to give us a follow on Instagram and Facebook.

For now its over and out, while we get all content ready for our clients as we prep for the Australian Karting Championship State Titles at Ipswich end of this month and the Porsche MischelinSprint Challenge in Townsville early July. The Porsche event will run in conjunction with the V8 Supercar round and will be televised both on Channel 7 and Kayo.
