In a world full of deadlines be it for kids, family or work, maintaining healthy habits and eating well can, well sometimes it can just feel like you are on a treadmill and you just can’t get off.
With an endless list of options, that lean towards derailing your healthy habits when on the road or in the midst of a hectic day it is easy for one to go off track when your normal comforts of routine are thrown as you head out the door. As we are all aware keeping balance and fuelled is the key to winning our day, whether we are on the road for a family trip, work trip or just a full day of commitments.
1.SLEEP - We all know it, we all are very aware of what we should be doing and that is getting good quality sleep - lights out, phones down and minimising distractions as early as we can. Eating earlier in the evening the night before a big day is a great start if it possible. It will help you wind down that bit earlier and get to sleep.

A balanced breakfast containing a mix of protein, fibre and healthy fats will do the trick - staying clear of those high sugary or deep fried options.

Dehydration can result in fatigue, drowsiness and not have as much clarity, so to make your day as successful as possible get the water intake up.
